About Prague Trip
Prague Trip is an independent travel guide to Prague and the Czech Republic. Our editorial team has been visiting, living in, and writing about Prague since 2020. We publish the guide we wish we had when we first arrived.
What we do
We cover Prague district by district, the best day trips from the city, ticket and pass comparisons, season-by-season advice, and the practical stuff no-one writes honestly about — scams, transport, currency, language, tipping. Every guide is reviewed at least once a quarter so prices and opening hours stay current.
How we work
- We visit in person. No page on this site describes a place we haven't been.
- We cite official sources for prices, opening hours, and transport timetables, and we note the date each guide was last reviewed.
- We correct mistakes quickly. If you spot something out of date, email us and we'll fix it within a week.
- We don't accept paid placements from hotels, restaurants, or tour operators. Recommendations are based on experience alone.
How we pay for it
Prague Trip is free to read. We cover our costs through affiliate partnerships with GetYourGuide for tours and tickets. When a reader books through one of our links, we earn a small commission at no cost to them. Who we are
Prague Trip is published by Agence Xen, an editorial studio based in Geneva, Switzerland, that operates a small network of destination guides across Europe and beyond. The team includes writers, editors, and travel-trade professionals with first-hand experience of Prague.
